It's the reverse. You search a show, and it tells you which Netflix region the show is in.

There are 132 episodes so they must have just made a random selection available.

I think those are somehow the only episodes they have the rights to, all the regions I switched between had the same 40 episodes, it's not available at all in the US catalogue.
