Auto forwarding rule on my Gmail account to send the code to my daughter automatically. No mess no fuss.

will see how it pans out, if they use IP address to determine the extent of my 'household'. i have fiber-wifi as well as MTN and Vodacom LTE routers, and Afrihost LTE on tablet, so all different IPs, used at different times and during load shedding.

However, those new rules were removed from the Netflix website as of Wednesday, Feb. 1, leading to confusion as to exactly what the world’s largest streamer was planning for its already-announced initiative. It turns out, according to a Netflix spokesperson, that those rules are in fact currently in place, just not yet in the United States.
“For a brief time yesterday, a help center article containing information that is only applicable to Chile, Costa Rica, and Peru, went live in other countries,” the spokesperson told The Streamable. “We have since updated it.”

SA's unique loadshedding situation may mean they hold off here rather than piss people off. As opposed to DSTV which would have limited the logins to one device by now
Our family (5 of us) benefit from the one account, even though we aren't always collocated. Can't say I'm offended by their attempts to prevent sharing - kudos to them not coming over to my place with a baseball bat ala DSTV.

South Africa is likely a poor market for them, small and where people are poor. Hence they may delay or implement these features differently. The cash cows are in the developed world where the Netflix sub is peanuts for the average user.

IMO the properly poor Netflix markets are SA, India & Pakistan (yes I know India has potential numbers but have a look at the INR sub rates & you will see what I mean.) We could also incl Nigeria into the mix.
