Netflix working on interactive TV shows

Netflix Inc. is about to let you decide how your favorite show will end.

The streaming service is developing a slate of specials that will let viewers choose the next storyline in a TV episode or movie, according to people familiar with the matter.

Spying is what I read... since for interactive they will need to use sensors maybe a webcam?
 
They basically slowly moving into the gaming market. Steam needs to be worried

This is the same way Robin got killed.

The idea sounds dumb to be honest just like the Choose Your Adventure books where sea monsters rise up and destroy everything or the dog collaborated with aliens to destroy all the cats in a story that started with kids exploring a cave.
 
They couldn't have chosen a better series to experiment with.... awesome!
 
I cant say I watched a lot of Netflix movies, but the ones I did see the story line is dull and predictable. Its like they stamping them off in the factory with zero focus on quality.
 
This is already here. I saw it the other day when my kids were watching. There's a program on netflix with Puss in Boots from Shrek. You guide the story as it goes, like a choose your own adventure. It simply works through your remote and doing selection almost like a dvd chapter search.

Been around since 2017 apparently.
