Hi all,

I have a very interesting issue here.

Okay!

So!

I have a Netgear DG834 v3 wireless router that I have had for a while, the issue comes up is, when I connect it to my ADSL at home, it connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects, so on and so forth.
Okay, so I tried different firmwares and ultimately, I took the router to Netgear in Cape Town and they said they'd have a look at it, even though the router is old and not under any warranty.
The technician at Netgear connected the router and bam, it worked, 100% first time, didn't touch a setting, didn't reset... SQUAT! Worked.
Brought the router home, made sure power supply was correct, LAN cable working - all necessary checks, I even reset the router.
Basically, doesn't connect.

I found this link: http://forum1.netgear.com/showthread.php?t=48980 and in it, it speaks about the following:

I suspect the problem is caused by the ISP not having enabled SRA (Seamless Rate Adaption). This is one of the advantages of ADSL2+ that enables the connection to the ISP to be maintained through the resyncing process. Apparently many ISP's do not enable this, reason is unclear to me.

I'm wondering if someone can guide me on this or help me as I'd like to use this router.

I was told to try use the latest DG Team firmware, and the one I flashed it with is v3.01.31 - DGTeam Rev. 0849
I've thought about trying to go BACK in firmwares but can't seem to find any for the router.
