Hi Guys

I need to know something. I just picked up a Netgear DGN2000 for like R150 :)

is there a default setting i need to use to log in, or can i just use my existing details im currently using?

Is this router simple enough to setup?

Thanks

Stick a pin in the "reset to factory" hole for 10 seconds.
Login detail should be at the bottom of the device - 10.0.0.2 - admin|admin or admin|password.
ADSL username and password from ISP.
VCI/VPI - 8/35 LLC.
Setup wifi using WPA2 authentication.

Netgears are usually 192.168.0.1, except for the telkom ones which are 10.0.0.2

Where do I find the network security key on this modem? I'm looking at the bottom and I see a security pin? Is that it? If yes, it says it's the wrong pin?

You didn't follow my steps?

First do a factory reset. By inserting a paper clip in the reset hole.

You need to open a browser, type in the router IP address.

Enter login details.

Click WiFi Settings and setup the WiFi with your details.

When you enter a password/passphrase for your network in the admin setup, below it will appear a bunch of 'keys'(random numbers and letters) based on whatever you entered, those are the network security keys you use.
