Netgear - Strange behaviour

Hello all,

I am getting some weird behaviour from my Netgear DG834Gv3 router.

It intermittently losses sync, but it doesnt log it as a loss of sync, there is no log. What happens is the "Internet" LED or sync light as I think it is called will go off, then flash amber for about 3 secs, then goes green. During that time my internet stalls, but I dont get disconnected from game, downloads, team speak connections etc.

Any ideas? I will log with Telkom and ask them to monitor it for like a day cos it happens about 20 times a day.

I had strange problems with my NetGear DG834G a while back. They seem to have corrected itself or something. Haven't had any problems for a while now.

Yeah I am running the latest version of the firmware which is the V4.01.28

It has never rebooted itself at all, all reboots have been intentional and user initiated

The rain seems to have started this behaviour off. I spent 18 months in the UK where it rains every day, and never had 1 single issue with my 8Mb ADSL there... so it cannot be ALL the rain! Something configurable has to be at play, DSLAM etc.

thats the biggest load of BS ever, I lived in the UK for 18 months and it rains there a **** load more than here (hence the grass is always greener on the other side) and my 8MB adsl didnt glitch once...
