Netogy Nova Feedback

Does anyone know when this device will get a update, ever since owning my device had no upgrade yet, my mibox and mecool has updated in the past year.
 
Go to the Google Play Store app on your Netogy Nova & check if there are any incremental system or app updates pending for it - there are numerous app & some firmware updates that are regularly rolled out, but a major Android system update is still somewhere over the horizon for it... ;)

Mi Box S 2nd gen hasn't had an operating system update yet since it was launched - the Google TV on the 2nd gen is still based off Android 11 ..... BUT given that they say each generation of these operating systems only have minimal and very minor differences they will probably only go straight to Android 14 or later for the 2nd gen

If it ain't broke, don't fix it - some thing that is more relevant than most people appreciate.
 
I've just bought a Nova10 and for the life of Brian I can't work out how to connect to SMB shares. This is easy on the Xiaomi but I needed AV1 codec support which is why I bought this.

Anyone with a tip or two please?
