Netstream

Would you recommend netstream or edge to someone? I would not for the fact it has taken my complex 9 months to reach this point. If I had been a trustee last year I would have gone with metrofibre or SADV, as they take less then 3 months to go live.. I really don't care about Edge using the latest technology or not, you still end up with the same speed. I know why my complex got this delayed is due to Nokia being very slow at completing tasks.

With all these delays, I feel I could get metrofibre in now and they might just finish before them... I saw reseller of metrofibre finish a complex in a month next door to us. They used the existing conduits to pull fibre.

Just found out from Edge that we will be using the SADV network. All these extra months of work for something we could have signed up with them directly and get it done in 3 months.

Same here... Netstream for our Complex, is now completely out of the equation

We're still months away from the end as well

If we don't go live by this month end, we are going to get another fibre provider to install.

Email from Edge:
We have completed the build process and have loaded Fairview with DFA. We are awaiting a date for the breakin, when received, will be forwarded to you.


So hopefully it looks like we will be done soon.

Met with a representative from SADV as the site as been handed over from edge. He said the break-in will happen next week and the site will be live by mid June.

DFA connection completed and tested. SADV just needs to connect the fibre line to the aggregation node near my area, will happen in the next 24hrs or so. Next week internal complex testing will begin. They will send me a router to test with... So good quick progress after switch over to SADV.

All work completed, link connected to aggregation node, and tested to back haul. Friday I should get a router with test account to test with.

Congrats! We are just in the process of handing over to SADV and testing

Our complex is now live on the SADV website. Going with home connect ISP.
