Network password not synching to workstation account. What do I need to do to get that to synch.

Are you sure there is still connectivity from the workstation to the domain controller? On the domain controller, have you made sure that the Active Directory service is still running?

Yes I can but where is the component that does that, as I know on Novell it is Workstation Mgr.

Well on the domain controller, do a "net stop netlogon" and then "net start netlogon" from command line to restart Active Directory services.

Also make sure your DNS is configured properly as the client uses DNS to lookup which domain controller to use for the login process.

Another thing is to check that if you have more than one Domain Controller, that they are replicating changes to each other.

If it is just on the one machine.

You can download the Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit at http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/...69-57ff-4ae7-96ee-b18c4790cffd&displaylang=en

and use the Klist.exe and Kerbtray.exe tools to delete cached Kerberos tokens.

Once the tokens are deleted and you restart and try to logon again, it might not log in if connection to the available domain controller is unavailable (as the credentials will no longer be cached) or it should log in with the new password and assigned a new Kerberos token.

Before you clear the cached Kerberos tokens, make sure you can log in with a local Administrator account to fix networking issues.

Have you looked at the Event Viewer for possible errors or warnings?
