Network product testers needed

So, just a big thank you to AV supply for helping with the "lost" product that dissapeared into the bowels of the company and was regurgitated on my desk! I don't think many companies get this involved in helping you find it. Thanks!

We try our best!! :D

couldn't contain my curiosity as well as the others here. Decided to test on an open network we have at work.
So first negative point. Unable to use ! # @ in password... Need to reconfigure all the passwords in my house now :(

Hope the new firmware helps
I've had the same issue with Tenda EoP adapters

Cool. Will download and update, see if it makes a difference.

Ok. Downloaded software as per link, made no difference. Won't allow space names in the SSID even though I scanned, and it filled it in itself. Still won't allow ! # in password. Also, system time shows 1970.. but when I set it I put it on 2014.

EDIT: Will see if it works easier at home, don't want to change my IP setting every 10 minutes.. :(
Although, the Routers that we are using here, are open so it shouldn't really make a difference.

Thanks, I've emailed the LB-Link support contact

Told them it's affecting sales!

Hi there

Are there any special deals available?

Have all the products been tested?

There are a few of the smaller products left

Which one did you want to test?

@AVSupply With all this testing have you got stock left to sell? I've been looking at the 300Mbps Wireless-N ADSL2+ Modem Router.

Hi Tango,

Our ADSL modems are in stock, but are not part of the products we want tested, so are full price

So correct me if I'm wrong please, but this seems to be a repeater not a extender? I define the difference:Repeater only takes the signal and repeats it, extender creates a second network with it's own SSID.

So the one I have from MWEB, asks for the SSID to connect to, the password and then it's own SSID. This has worked like magic.
Whereas with this one, it asks for the SSID, the password - which it then tells me uses illegal characters, causing a network wide change of passwords, only to then repeat the signal willy nilly to anyone within range, so anyone that can see the repeater, just logs on to the new network, which doesn't ask for a password when you log in, and off you go.

Repeater mode will repeat a wireless signal (halves the throughput)

Extender mode will extend a wireless signal (device needs to be connected to your network via a LAN cable)
