Network product testers needed

While the provided app showed 11mbps link speed , true output was between 1-2mbps.
The link was quite stable once I got it going, did not drop at all.

Does the high gain adapter perform a lot better through less walls, or were you using it when testing through the 2 walls?

Didn't do anything special there, after changing to Extender mode I used the scan function to select my network followed by the password and it connected to my network.
Some info about the network, maybe it will help.

Main router is a Dlink 2750u running on Channel 1, SSID is letters only all caps
Extender running on Channel 3, kept the SSID the same as main router so devices can swap seamlessly.

The one above with 3 bars was my built in laptop radio.
Forgot to add the high gain adapter results there, it reported signal strength of -49dBm which corresponded to 5 bars in windows.

Other local wifi networks went from 2 bars with laptop only too 4 bars with the high gain antenna.

Nope that was just me being in a rush last night with typing out the readings.
Fixed it now, everything should be fine.

Also quick update, as of this morning the link is still running stable :)

Mine doesn't have that option? Or where do you set this up?

When I logged into the web interface there were 2 big buttons, left one is AP mode right one is repeater mode.

EDIT: for clarity, when I say extender I meant repeater mode.

Finally got my system up and running again after a few months of it being out of commission due to rebuilding my study.... (damn cheap shyte MSI motherboard that just decided to stop working)...

My initial use for the unit I received is to "bridge" onto my wireless network until I can get the time to move my core network kit into my new study. It does the job perfectly, if a bit simplistically.

Will work on a proper write up over the next few weeks.
