Network router caused WhatsApp's 'biggest' outage

WhatsApp founder Jan Koum issued an apology and blamed a network router for an outage of the mobile messaging app.

That's going to cost them dearly - lack of faith, suspicion about the changes and someone from Facebook probably querying the due diligence exercise in terms of system robustness
