Hi Guys

I'm contemplating selling my WoW account: EU region

1x Rogue lvl 70 (Horde)
1x Shaman lvl 70 (Horde)
1x Warrior lvl 62 (Alliance)

1x Lock lvl 42

They are not rich and no they are not very well geared. The rogue is OK geared.

Also a few other chars on there all mid 30's late 20's
I also have a 60 day game card which I gaven't used yet but bought it of Mastercarder. RPG-Bay said the card is fine I can use it.

Asking R 2000.00

Let me know if your interrested.

I want to play WAR without WoW pulling me back to the Blizzard IMBAness :o

PM me if you're interrested. Or if you want to make me another offer.

I suggest you drop your price by a fair bit. Even for 2 70's 2K is a lot, especially considering neither is well geared.

It's mainly aimed at people who want's to get into wow at WoTLK but have no previous chapter. Anyway I'll consider any offer from around R 1 200 ;) which includes the 60 day game card (The game card I will not be held liable for) But I have not used it yet.

Stop your account or Freeze it. Play warhammer for a few months maybe you enjoy it, maybe wotlk will be better. Keep your options open, unless you need the cash.
If your account is registered under a non SA address ill consider it!

It's in my address.

I want to sell it mainly for the following reason. I will buy WAR. Now if I still have WoW somewhere in the house, chances are I will not be giving WAR the full chance it deserves :o (WoW addict)

But yea, maybe I'll just freeze the account and see what happens.

what if WAR is crap and you have already sold your wow account?

And a lot more expensive. I was really keen to get into 40K but buying a new Tau army from scratch would have bankrupted me.

Nice opertunity to stop playing altogether then ;)
Warhammer board game is way better anyway and more sosial.

Guys,

I would suggest you go read up on WAR hammer
http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/

This is going to be awesome, by no way am I expecting it to be WoW on steriods. But I need something new and fresh, with the WoW basics. Sounds like WAR is it

Check the link above :)

Warhammer is a PVP frenzy, and most people compare it to Guildwars. If the game have some broader scope to keep people interested I would also try it out. But at this stage it lack the graphics of Conan, and gameplay of wow.

According to what I have read.

You will lvl by doing either just PvP or Just PvE but can lvl doing both (interresting)

There are about 30 dungeons for PvE grouping (Group = 6 members) The whole dungeon is not instanced only the boss of that dungeon is instanced. However Factions are group'd together in dungeons.

Lvl cap is 40

Mount at lvl 20

The game is not very gear dependant, it is about skill :) Same kind of setup as GW.

Healers/Melee DPS/Ranged DPS/Tanks

Healers are DPS with Healing, their DPS is in the same class as the other DPS.

There is also Lairs which will have far superior bosses I see this as "Raids"

The way I see this game:
WoW PvE with GW PvP

Now what more does one want ?

I have about 4-5k pts of Tau I may consider parting with, let me dig them out and see

Meh, unfortunately I don't have the time for 40K anymore. I was looking at it years ago.
Now I don't play any CCG's or table top games regularly.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. You will kick yourself if WAR turns out to be crap and you have to level up a new WoW toon from scratch because you sold your account. aoC got the same kind of 'wowkiller' hype and turned out to be something of an abortion.

Freeze the account. Try WAR out. If it rocks, the WoW bug will die all by itself and you can sell it, if it doesn't, you've got a trusty fallback.

*edit* Let me quote Tycho today. I think it is relevant.

I was looking over the patch notes for World of Warcraft 3.0.2 on the public test realm - the ones that aren't even complete yet - and they're ****ing ridiculous. When they said you'd need to spend a billion dollars to beat these guys, I assumed it was like raising your hackles, or thrashing your venomous tail - a predator's warning on entering its territory. Maybe its closer to an actual fact.

The alterations here are vast, but this is only the most recent reinvention. The World of Warcraft people are playing now isn't the one they launched, the one that was so unstable we had to withdraw our earlier praise. It isn't any of the innumerable alterations they've made to classes, or raids, or any of the savvy swipes they've made from user modifications. The game is a completely living document. How do you design against it? And even if you wanted to play something else, who would you play it with? Everyone you know is raiding tonight.

(CW)TB out.

TL;DR: Think LONG and HARD before you ditch your account...

I've read some interviews with game designers of Warhammer Online, and they reckon they'll never be able to compete with WoW. They're were hoping to get the jump on WoW, but now that WotLK is coming out soon, they're concerned that the game won't do well at all.

I hope WAR does well. The game is hyping its PVP aspect more than its PVE atm, so a lot of BG & Arena addicts will be switching to WAR.

Freezing your WoW account is your best option. If you haven't even played the WAR beta yet, how do you even know it'll be that great?

Unless you're trying to find an excuse to escape the addiction that is WoW. Not a bad idea then.

Thing is, PVP doesn't matter all that much. Yes we all crave and yearn for better PVP in WoW, but that's not why 10 million people got hooked on the game in the first place. WoW is an incredibly rich universe, one that's a lot of fun to play with friends. That simply truth, alone, is why it's successful where other MMO's aren't.

WAR is going to have to have some *really* good PVE content to pry enough people away from WoW. With the amount of resources Blizzard can throw at it's game, I doubt it can come close to maintaining the same kind of living world that Blizzard does. It sounds like EA/Mythic expects players to do their work for them with the whole RvR thing, but we all know that leaving something in players hands is a recipe for abuse, exploitation, griefing/etc and ultimate failure.

I'll be trying WAR out for sure for the pvp lulz and casual arbing, but truth be told, I suspect I'll be raiding in Wrath of the Lich King. Nobody does that better than Blizzard.

Pitbull, I would personally also keep my account for a while, you know just incase.
I will also be trying WAR, I tried AOC, didn't like it, and went back to WoW. I'll try the same with WAR.

But now a crazy thought (and I hope that it does not happen), what if WOTLK is a disappointment...what will you guys do then? Carry on playing, hoping and praying for the first major patch to solve it? Granted, I have not played the BETA, so I'm really basing this (if) on my bad AOC experience.
