anyone still playing this one? i been feeling like the sole representative of SA for ages now. almost every server i play on most of the ppl haven't ever had a south african on any of their servers before.

still a wicked game and i enjoy it so would be great to get a couple saffas together for a bit of a kick around on a server sometime

Would be fun. I haven't played NWN1 in a looooong time... Omg... Deekin... I love him :D

DOOM DOOM DOOOM... DOOMITY DOOM... :p :p :p

the problem with the saix hosted version is that its sitting on version 1.5 or something and the latest is 1.69. that was always my issue with there, they never updated the thing.

Lycanthrope, the 467MB patch is to bring it in line with 1.69, 1.69 is more of a third expansion than a patch. Adds a new class and a whole new set of stuff like horses etc.

The problem comes in if you do play online on a server that uses cep (community expansion pack), thats an additional 700MB dl. so you looking at over a GB for the whole thing.

Did the update on friday last week and nearly wet myself when i looked at my usage on saturday lol

Just a pity that now that I have the computer to play NWN1 in all it's glory, I don't have a decent enough internet connection at home to play online.

NWN for me was what made me see the light when it comes to RPG gaming. I still have my level 20 sorceror tucked away safely, I am so proud of him. I was busy trying to play Shadows of Undrentide with a cleric, but it's a bit awkward. Just not the same as a good old sorceror.

I need to get hold of NWN2 as well.

When I read "neverwinter nights 1" at first I thought this was about the original Neverwinter Nights from 1991 lol.

I'd love to play Neverwinter Nights multiplayer, I've only played it co-op over a LAN with one other person a few times which was also pretty good.

Neverwinter Nights 2 makes me sick

I enjoyed it, actually. It wasn't quite as entertaining as NWN1, and the facial/expressive animations were annoying, but I enjoyed it all the same. I didn't take to Mask of the Betrayer though - it felt like they were trying too hard to achieve something "new."
