Just shows how long it is since I've listened to 5FM as the only person I've heard of is Nicole da Silva and that's because her mother is a friend of mine.

Having said that I switched to 5FM by mistake one Saturday and for the brief time it was on the music sounded good. Jazzy type stuff.
 
Trash station for donkeys years now. They've become irrelevant with being able to connect MP3 players in cars, or listen to other stations, or even still listening to CDs.
 
I must be getting old. The only name I recognise there is Roger Good and maybe, I think maybe, Nicole da Silva (although I might be mistaking her for somebody I've dealt with on LinkedIN).

Yeah when I listen to music I want to listen only listen to music and not have it interrupted by casual conversation and adverts.

Likewise when I want to listen to a podcast I don't want the conversation to halt to play a couple songs
 
I've been the longest fan of 5FM even after others I know have left, but recently I finally gave up on them too..

Stupid DJ's making stupid comments while playing stupid music, ugh.
 
What happened to that hotty Nicole Fox?
I met her at Als Oyster Festival in 2003, Knysna.
Was awesome hanging out with her when I was a roady back in the day
I wanted to bang her brains out that night but she wasnt interested in me.
She did however punch me ****ing hard on the arm when we were talking and said something and mentioned Radio 5. She told me its 5FM. LOL
 
i actually enjoy listening to 5fm ...roger goode shows are excellent

way better than the goodhope guys

but now he is gone its going to be sad

also i only listened for few mins a day when going to work or coming back home and now with WFH i hardly listen

Why does every program have 5 in the title? We get it, you're on 5FM. This is like DSTV adverting DSTV on DSTV.

She was a hottie, I met Koula when I went to go audition for the radio, I froze so badly though and the nerves kicked in.
