New Apple MacBook revealed

Yeah there will be other and nothing forces you to buy an Apple branded one. So pricing on the adaptors will at least be competitive. I do like this new direction Apple are going in. One port for everything.

It would've been handy to put more than one usb c port on the macbook to at least make it functional without having to plug in multiple overpriced adaptors.

At the very least apple could include an adaptor, or price it at the reasonably.

I agree, an included adaptor would have been a win here.

I suspect that the 15" rMBP will get quite the revision this year, or else it would have also had the processor update the 13" had.

I do feel sorry for owners of the current 13" rMBP- it was just refreshed in late September.
 
For some reason i have developed an interest for Macs, but im not sure how i feel about the idea of such a closed ecosystem with proprietary connectors and the likes

Anyone can develop for OsX
USB-C is an open standard.
