I wonder what the new MBP will look like.
Meh... Nothing special then
These new guys spent about 20 seconds talking about the Macbook air and pro like they don't matter much, and 20 minutes on the new 12 inch one.
Steve Jobs must be sorely missed there.
What? Why would they spend more time on a mid-cycle spec bump than a new product?
This thing has only one port for everything including the charger and a processor from a tablet. Starting at $1299 it is difficult to see what the point is. I am sure that most people would have preferred an Air with a retina display instead.

I think long term there'll be a simplified product offering - just MacBook and MacBook PRO - Air will disappear. The upgraded bits added are most likely to clear old stock etc. It'll most likely be 12" MacBook, 13" & 15" MacBook PRO
I promise you there will be an attachment you will be forced to purchase at a ridiculous additional price.
I thought USB Type C was an open standard?
Don't you need some sort of attachment in order to connect a USB3 or HDMI device to it?
Yes, but anyone should be able to make them.
