New build help (again)..

Hi, building this for my dad, and just need a little advice for it so far.
He wants the fastest possible PC for as little as possible so this is what I have come up with so far. BTW he is very into the windows index rating ! So want to try get as high as possible for as little as possible...:D and the prices are from ikonicIT, the cheapest I could find...

Am I to understand the 2GB OCZ Ram only costs R250? or is that a total of 2GB, 1GB + 1GB ?

+1 Sounds like a good system for the price. Also wondering about the ram. The only ram I could get for that price is the Kingston value ram. Even Transcend Jetram goes for around R300.

It is in fact R250 for 2gb and in this build it is 4 gb. 2x2 gb.
What psu do you guys think would run nicely with a phenom 240 II, is vantech(I think thats the name) any good (500w). They also have a really nice special of an overclocked gtx 260 core 216 for R2300 (MSI) .

No, But the 920 II is R400 more expensive than the 940 ! And kind of specifically want a quad core...

BTW, anybody done business with ikonicIT, hows their service?
 
Im also now deciding to go with the sapphire 4850(only R150 more), is it any better than the Zoltac 9800 GT ?
 
One more quick question, I can't seem to find how many USB ports are on this motherboard, every site I look its a different number, could any one tell me?

Nate I would really put a little more money into getting a better PSU for your system. If you ever upgarde that system you might just find yourself running out of power and needing to buy a bigger psu in any case.

hmmm. True that! Extra R200 will get you a cooler master 550w that really is 550w
