New Car Lemon - Consumer Act

He says its new. Can you not read?

We all know you dropped out of school in grade 3 after finger painting, but let me help you with this great language :

( o ) ( o ) after buying a 20 year old car and arriving home, I walk up to my wife and say, "honey look I bought a new car!"

Let me know if you need me to explain this with crayons and face painting etc. 🤡

Ooooh nice deflection. You clearly cannot read

Come on @sandwitch, spill some of the tea. Are we talking German stalwart or Chinese upstart?
I'm keeping it to my chest until my 6 months and this adulting nightmare is all sorted out. I do think the dealership is handling it nicely but it's the frustration of sending it back again for the same fault... I'm just frustrated that a bad year ended with an unlucky buy that is giving me a lot of trust issues.
I want to hear from other carbuyers what they went through.

I appreciate the tea comment 🤣

Lame

Delete the thread and recreate in 6mths then

I'm not interested in writing what I'm going through because I'm living it atm. I'm interested in what happened to other people so I know the process and what to expect or to look out for.
The car was brand-new-never-driven-before. I love driving it and how it looks inside and out.

That answer will differ from brand to brand, and even dealer to dealer.

Is it the Citroen?

Just tell us:

A: what car?
B. What’s wrong with it.

Otherwise GTFO / pointless thread.

Would not call it a lemon, but bought a brand new VW Caddy 2.0TDI Maxi.
First time on highway and over 110km/h and there is a loud whistling wind noise.
Book it in, they hear the noise but don't know what's causing it.
Week later they send it to another dealer, same thing don't have solution.
Tell me they have a engineer from Germany coming in two weeks and I must bring it then.
Take it and problem solved. Coming from the side mirror.
The fix? 10cm piece of Sellotape on bottom corner of mirror where the two pieces clip together.
Wanted to fight but decided to just live with it and replace the Sellotape once a year when it start looking dirty.

You don't need to explain the whole situation but this thread would be a lot more productive for you if people just new the make and model of the vehicle.
