Thanks but I'm referring to using the app on the Chromecast with Google TV instead of the Chromecast functionality itself

I've been trying but they more interested in the fact that I am using a Hisense TV which is irrelevant because I'm not using the TV app

Doubt it is Android or device, it is DSTV app. Various people have issues, constantly with this app. Sorry, I can't check/help, I haven't done DSTV for over 10 years.
