New computer

I Have seen that one i dont like the colour but also Price I am hoping to get the EVGA X58 SLI LE at R2000 or if possible R1500

Sorry but you have no hope of getting it that price. R2500 is prob the cheapest you will find it for and I don't see it on the suppliers pricelist.

I somehow doubt you will find that board anywhere for R2000. If you are looking for a decent X58 board at R1900 you could look at the MSI x58 pro-e here: http://www.ikonicit.co.za/index.php?target=products&product_id=3158

Heard nothing but good things about the above board and am planning to get one myself fairly soon.

For all the other stuff you may want to take a look at this store as all their prices are really awesome compared to most other online stores.

Ya really --> 1000W PSU is overkilling it. You don't need a 1000W PSU for that setup.

And also stay clear from Matrix. Haven't heard any good feedback from people who dealt with them.

Sorry but thats crap advice....A 1000W PSU..Really..? You serious...?
So how will you have "hardware damage" exactly? And what PSUs do matrix warehouse stock?

Sorry for that, a 1000WATT is maybe too much:o, but I won`t go lower than 700WATT.
I bought my PC at Matrix, and I have no problems with it:). They order their parts from Rectron.

A good branded 700W will be fine for him if he wants to SLI cards although he could get away with less.

Definitely going for the OCZ Fatal1ty 700W Thanks Zenbaas will try post less next time:P ... I still like the EVGA X58 SLI LE I looked at foxconn Bloodrage but only 3 ram slots which put me off I am probably gonna order from Amazon or one of the online stores on the evga list it will still be under R2000 if I worked correctly

And then your board is DOA?
Need to update the BIOS but it crashes?

I do not think that the risks are worth buying something that will have no local warranty.

My DFI board could no overclock, it would crash... Got swapped for an Asus.

Just my 2c worth :)

What would be the EVGA X58 SLI LE Alternative i looking for a good overclocker can take 24Gb 1366 socket 6 Ram slots and good price preferably black or red for colour scheme i going for i liked the foxconn bloodrage would 3 ram slots be enough for gaming ?

There was a thread about that a while back.
If i remember correctly there was no FPS gain between 3 gigs and 6 gigs of ram for gaming...

i talking about slots i am going to get 6 Gb any way but for future is 6 slots important ... is foxconn bloodrage gti good it is cheaper than non gti bloodrage is there a huge change their specs are basically the same i looking to oc i7 920 to 4Gh

Dude. Do you have google?
Get all the specs there.

Biostar are good overclockers. Personally im not a fan of EVGA Mobos.

I have it says bloodrage has comes with a water cooling attachment to north bridge and DICE cooling but is that important i was just asking for personal preference i had read the spec

I got the specs i was just asking for personal opinion bloodrage has bunch of goodies like water cooling attachment for north bridge but is this worth it i can find bloodrage gti price only bloodrage its in 4000s
i have biostar now its a cheapy but can oc my AMD sempron is already at default at the x11 multiplier ,its max,

****
Sorry didnt know other send firefox cut out

Will it be that important to overclocking ? i wasnt planning on doing it was going with CM v10 for cpu and ram cooling and leave north bridge

Dude...
4ghz can almost be done on any I7 board on air. get a TRUE 120.
Alot of the guys get 4ghz on those. Alot depends on your chip.

Price wise the TRUE 120 on par wit CM v10 i was originally planning on it should i stick i have check reviews still unsure

Take the TRUE over the V10, mounting that monster in scout is challenging

i going for haf 932 now much better for cooling and space ... still TRUE or v10
