The slowest speed that I have got so far on my mild account has been about 100KB/s . This is 100% acceptable and makes the price insanely affordable. I have done about 85 GB since Thursday night and so far I am loving the account.However im not sure if this is just me, will I also recieve approximtely the same speed in Jan when I buy an account? I would like to recieve some clarification on that, Dave ? :confused:

Once the network is full you will get the line speed you paid for.

Assuming you went for the spicy or mild, then 256kbps burstable to 512kbps.

Well, the account I have is supposed to be the 256kb/s account(Mild)...

It's self signed and it's sole purpose is to encrypt the traffic. It does not confirm that you are at the authentic digichilli site (which you have to do)...
It's only a problem if you got there via a link that may be redirecting you to a fake DC site... it's really not a big deal people. I'm sure it will be updated in future. It's issued to obelix.digichilli.com and used on www.digichilli.com - that's the main reason it's complaining. Rofl

That may be true, but one would have expected them to take care of things like this before launching. Having to take their site down to implement homemade security measures tells me they weren't fully prepared.

I think you miss the point. It looks incredibly amateurish and unprofessional to use an ssl certificate for a domain that it's not signed for.
 
Rofl, they are the same IP. Both are secure, you just need to confirm (when it pops up) that you trust the site. Anyone wanting to hazard a guess what a certificate costs from Verisign?

A quick google reveals they possibly cost around $350 a year.
