New Digichilli Site

That is not too bad. It is less than 9 Spicy accounts, to be exact 8.8333333333333333333333333333333 or rounded to 8.84 Spicy accounts.

So the first 9 Spicy account holders get their account, in a matter of speaking for free for 1 month per year.

Surely as a new business you would have a plan in place to take people's money in return for a service/goods etc., that's the point of being in business after all.
After reading the other thread and watching events unfold I believe I was correct in saying they were unprepared to launch.

Rofl, they are the same IP. Both are secure, you just need to confirm (when it pops up) that you trust the site. Anyone wanting to hazard a guess what a certificate costs from Verisign?

I had to buy a Class 1 cert from verisign for our Email system, 6 DNS domain names attached to 1 cert = R30K

But that is verisign, godaddy is a good cheaper alternative but verisign is better.

Edit - Class 3, had it the wrong way around and vaild for 1 year only

It's self signed and it's sole purpose is to encrypt the traffic. It does not confirm that you are at the authentic digichilli site (which you have to do)...
It's only a problem if you got there via a link that may be redirecting you to a fake DC site... it's really not a big deal people. I'm sure it will be updated in future. It's issued to obelix.digichilli.com and used on www.digichilli.com - that's the main reason it's complaining. Rofl

When Screamer launched they had no security at all signing everyone up, at least a self signed cert means traffic is encrypted. Not desired but at least trying the minimum.

I know this is off topic, and hopefully I won't be shot, but what is the difference between a Class 1 & 2 certificate, and why would Verisign be "better"?
