New DSL line

hey guys, Telkom is installing my DSl tomorrow.

I am like a little child. I cannot wait.

Any tips for a noob? Maximising my utilisation etc? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

had mine installed 2 weeks ago.... its still a dead line, countless calls to help desks, lots of promises NOTHING. anybody know someone who knows someone? im in tears

Joe, kvi: I've been thru the same ordeal. 2 weeks daily and expensive visits to the next internet cafe, countless hours spent on the telephone, listening to 0800375375, 10219 and 10215 blaming each other of not giving me good service. At least they were good entertainment and kept me busy during the waiting period with their stories.

Hope I am in the right discussion. Using Vodacom 3G for our connection at the moment. We are Tour Brokers with our market 98% international. We are using abbout 2.5 - 3 Gig of data per month. On balance would members recommend ADSL 512 or 3G/HSDPA as being the most stable connection? We seem to have a lot of latency issues with 3G and it gets expensive as well! Would appreciate any advice.
