Can't really check from my dish to the decoder.

I find Kodi quality better than in my browser too (Firefox), but only just... my poorer hardware setup.

Makes sense, browsers are limited. Even Netflix, Prime and such don't like playing in browsers.

Don't bother on Kodi - Slyguy hasn't updated his app for the newer security and it's the only option.

Only problem I've had is the occasional stream interruption. Recovery takes the usual 1 minute.

Not that we don't want it, just that there are very few channels that originate in 4K, at at this time, we recognize that it is a bridge too far.

I'd rather have the option but not use it, than paying an amount that reflects a premium service and getting 1080 and a bad (for years) app.
