But dont u guys think they took all your gripes into account and added it in the new Expansion?
 
IMO they will, but they will have to weigh up their resources versus our wishes/wants. There are many other larger issues they need to look at which are not listed here and I believe what has been discussed in this thread will be looked at very last.

3. Yeah I do kinda miss 40 man raids. But 25 man is still awesome.

4. Nein. Thats a common misconception. Old Azeroth is still very much alive and full of people leveling. I would kno, I just leveled 1-70 in the last few months.

5. What do you mean unbalanced?

6. There have always been issues with some classes being generally better at certain things and it will continue.

7. Shammies and Priests obsolete? Thats crazy talk. All 3 Shammy tree's are in hot demand with most guilds clamouring to try get at least 1 of each in every raid because they're so damn useful. Lolsmite Priests are ripping it up in Arena and Shadow or Holy Priests are still very much in demand for Raids.

I don't think every class needs CC. In certain instances it's definitely needed to get certain classes to provide CC but not every class needs it.

2. NO pvp was not a source of free epix until TBC, considering i was a warlord rank Pre-TBC,I would like to know where and from who u heard that from.

3 and 5. 40 man ..... 4 0 is a even number, 40 man raids were the pinnacle of end game, 40 man raids were for the more powerful guilds, Even though blizzard made the raids smaller to accomidate for the smaller whinners who " i cant raid cos my guilds to small " all the time. 40 man raids allowed for random disco and allowed the rest of the raid to compensate for the people offline.

4.Azeroth is full of alts!

7. Yes certain classes are obsoleet, Go look at the shaman forums, Every shaman is happy with his class till he/she realises that when they in PVP and end game raids(lvl 70)....they suck! As a GM or raid leader i would rather have a rogue then a shaman, Shamans have no CC for heroics and the resto tree you speak so high off can have its 41 talent dispelled and stolen by other classes very easily,Priests: What would u have in your group??? a clothy or plate wearing healer bot?? think!!!

It seems to me that blizzard have made locks and pallas gods!!

1. Yes, I will agree BC has a lot more factions to grind then pre-BC but it's still considerably easier, especially after they changed the requirement for Heroic Keys to Honoured. I reached 70 a week ago on my newest char and I've already gotten all my keys and almost all the rep I want. I have about 2 factions I'm pursuing rep for and in another week I'll most likely have the rep I want. More factions doesn't mean harder grinding. BC factions are a lot easier to get rep with and they all have a large amount of Quest support so while you level you can gain a substantial portion of the rep u need.

2. I'll agree with you that pre-2.1 getting High Warlord was a huge mission. Unfortunately post 2.1 PvP is ezmode epics. I'm not complaining though coz it's allowed me to grab a Season 1 Spellblade really quickly.

3. How can 40 man be the pinacle of end game when you can have several players go AFK and still down a boss? I raided extensively pre-BC and quite frankly I really enjoyed the change to 25 man content. You don't have to drag fools around with you if you want to get anywhere. I will concede that there's a lot of debate around this change but big guilds like Nihilum seem to be happy with how it's worked out so it can't be all that bad.

4. Having recently survived Azeroth again I can safely say that Azeroth is not just full of alts but lots of new players. I didn't have any trouble finding non-Guild parties for any of the Azerothian instances and in many cases I got invites out of nowhere to run dungeons.

7. Your first mistake was to read the offical wow forums. You'll be hard pressed to find more QQ anywhere other then an Emo convention. Shaman are not useless in Raids and PvP. O noes I got my Earthshield Stolen! It's called Purge and only a fool doesn't use it in PvP.
If your raid leader is passing on all the Shaman in place of Rogues then he's a colossal moron. Putting even one Shammy into your melee DPS group makes a noticeable difference.

As for your CC comment. You say Shammies have no CC and then you ask me to point out a class that needs CC. Need I say more?
 
To all the ppl asking about the release date

Blizz said sumwhere in a blue, sites have to have a release date in order to b able to pre-order/stock the game, but it doesnt mean the game will b released on that day

I didnt rly get into pretbc raiding, we had just gotten Majorhomo down in MC, aq20 clear, zg clear, Razorgore down. but in tbc, ive gotten a chance to experience alot more raiding, kara->gruul->maggy->ssc->tk->za... my guild is now on kael, 3/4 adds down on p3, which probably means (omg omg omg i hope) ill see archi/lotsa BT - maybe even sunwell b4 WOLTK comes out, w00t!

what will, and its probably been said, is the fact that ive spent tons of gametime working my ass off progressin thru BC endgame content, only to find, 1. retards in full s1 thinking they can raid 2. more ppl are going pvp, cos its ezmode 3. when wotlk comes out, all my extremely hard earned epix will b worthless after 5lvls (call me a loot whore, but a ton of dedication has gone into my gear (not talking about the stuff u can earn from badges/craftin etc)

the only exception to pve'ers doing pvp is for offspec gear (k im a hunter, theres only 1 set we go for... dee pee ess!) but a holy priest, having pvp gear can help on say leo where smitespam could save the raid

Patch 2.4 isn't even on the PTR and I don't think Wrath will be arriving within weeks of 2.4 so I wouldn't hold your breath for Wrath in Feb.

Patch 2.3 made TBC - WOTLK ready.

The rest is just fixing current issues and maybe some more content thought of a bit late ;)

But as the game is now, it is WOTLK ready
 
Please dont get your hopes up guys, Wotlk will only be out 3rd quarter or later. There are a few content patches in the works. These posted dates are all crap, these stores just want you to pre-order.
 
yes pitbull, u may be right, but there no way its coming out in feb... blizz are using 2.4 to 'end' the TBC story line as such (fighting the 'renegades' and defeating them), 2.4 will hopefully be out by feb at least
 
New tallent trees for up to level 80 have not even been discussed yet. I doubt we will see the expancion for another few months.
