Looks like a bigger version of the new Fiesta. I guess it's the same story with the Golf VI and the new Polo.

agreed with Smooth Criminal, looks like a big Fiesta...joh, pls don't follow VW's tradition!

Gimme a 2.0 with "DSG" 'box plzthx. :D

Power's up 20% on the outgoing 2.0l (what's that, about 20-25kw?) and economy's up 10%.

I'd want a 1985 2.0 Nord worked motor with 48 webahs and high lift cams with 123kw on the rear wheels, unadulterated fun!..oh, sorry, just out of plain interest...why's Focus ST's so cheap nowadays? Like under 150k???

Interior's waaaaaaaaay too busy.

They need to take a couple of sheets out of VW's book:

Where's the VW's "paddle" controls? Look carefully at the Ford steering wheel (8am and 4pm positions). I love mine!!!

I dunno man, the VW interior is classy but very conservative. The Ford's is a little more innovative. As long as the Ford's materials and fit and finish are good, I'd say I prefer the Blue Oval's TBH

Look, horses for courses & all that jazz... That's ultimately why we have eleventy brazillion different cars on the market. Say what you will about VeeDub, though, zee Churmans know ergonomicz.

On the Ford - the new Fiesta is a damn sexy little thing. I like where Ford's going with their exterior styling, but that dashboard just looks like someone fell down a flight of stairs carrying a box of sticky buttons.

The local versions interior will never look that cool...

Good, hope they sort out that horrendous fat arse.

That VW dash gives me a nice fuzzy feeling inside....afraid, I could not live with the Ford at all!

I like the Ford's interior in a sense that it makes you take notice initially. But the novelty wears off eventually and as something to live with everyday I'd take the Golf's.

It's a lot cleaner, you know where everything is and there's more perceived space. I realise that it's only a perceived difference, but I see myself feeling a lot more claustrophobic in the Ford.

Oh and I also like 3-spoke steering wheels :)
