I think they're all so dam close, who wins depends on who's in the driver's seat. Inconsistent wins.

If I was going to pay that much, I would rather save a few months and get the A45. Or save a bit more and get the M2. Horrible pricing from FordSA if it's true. They must have added a hype tax.

Was marginally quicker around Killarney in the Car Mag test.

CAR tested Ford Focus RS at 1:26.70 and BMW M2 at 1:24.90, huge difference.

Focus RS's time was closer to BMW M235i 1:26.93 and slower than Civic Type R 1:26.30

- in a nutshell:

The 2nd Gen RS is substantially more scarce than the new model in SA.

2nd Gen model will hold its value rather well.
