100%, and each to their own. But I can take my laptop to my in-laws house in the WC and play games there if I wanted too ;-)Lol fair enough, to be honest Im exactly in the same boat these days. I work in enterprise IT in the cloud space so I hardly even know desktop hardware these days.
The only reason Im so confident in my claim about performance is that I tried to choose between a gaming laptop and gaming desktop about 2.5 years back.
I did tons of research and came to that conclusion, I also had a friend who bought one around that time and was really disappointed in the performance.
Which was why I got it. Portability. I don't notice the difference in performance, no matter how slight.
