hey guys/girls
I`m upgrading my cellphone contract in March, and I need help deciding to get a new sony experia z3, or a new gaming pc. Can I get a gaming laptop that is not so expensive around R5000 that I can afford. Do incredible coonection have it on a contract?

LOL. You won't get a gaming laptop for R5000. Triple that and we can talk.

You won't even get a gaming PC for that money. Rather get the cell phone.

Gaming laptop?

No chance. Start at R12k at the bare minimum. And you won't get much for that.. A desktop you could do for around 6 though.

You might get a cheap "normal" laptop for that price, but it won't play games very well or at all.

Define what games exactly you want to play? Gaming are way too expensive for what you get.
In my opinion you only get a work laptop with HDMI, and a desktop PC, everything else designed for people who have too much money.

A R5000 gaming PC is doable howerver.
I have extra PC here I still need to sell, that's essentially a G3258 with second-hand GTX550ti. 4Gig ram, big case, 730w power supply which is way too much for it too be honest and a micro atx motherboard.

Passmark score is:
CPU: 3500 - 4000(Air OC)
GPU: 2200

That means running most games before the Watch Dogs era @ high detail and very good fps.
Which consists mostly of PS3 and XBox360 ports with much better textures and fps.

Also if go for a carbonite build.
For instance I saw someone that just sold an i5 2400 for R700.

So someone scored, and could build the mobo (i5 CPU/motherboard/8 gig RAM) for 2k.
It's when it comes to the GPU, where the problem starts kicking in, those R9 270x cards you lucky to get for R2000

But if you willing to sacrifice the new next gen releases it's possible to get a GPU under R1000 that'll do the job and run games like DOTA2 maxed out.
