New HDD -

Got my brand new seagate 500gig 7200.12 from my supplier today , as my old one has just bombed out on me .

But now , how do i get the new drive to work again , forgot how to get to the process of , formatting it to get it to show up .

Help please ???:erm::erm:

Dynamic disk allows you to do certain advanced functions like RAID - it can also cause hassles later on (certain disk tools may not work etc), and you cannot change back to basic. If you do not need to stripe, span, mirror or RAID5 your disks then do not use dynamic disks.
