new headphones - opinions

Hey All,

looking for some new head phones to replace my G430. prior to this I have G35s. I have enjoyed both pairs, kinda want to go wireless now.

Gripes:
G35s - the leather ear muffs started flasking too early imo, couldnt find cost effective replacements for them, eventually sound started dying in one ear.
G430 - still going fairly strong, but "leather" around the cloth ear peices has also started flaking. And the ear muffs and head band is looking a bit siff, how are you actually meant to clean these and why can't you find spares

Options and opinions? please note - on a bit of a budget, not really willing or able to drop big money on a pair.

i could prob stretch that if they will last. my main concern i guess would be the battery life over time, charging time and how well they hold up. of course also the quality

Take a look at the Turtle Beach range - the stealth 600s or 700s.
Battery life around 12hours. Charge around 3 hours.
My son swears by his.

Personally - I have the SONY Wh 1000xm3 - not really for gaming though
Battery life around 18 -24 hours - Charge time 3 hours,

I have the same pair. The noise-canceling is much poorer a year later compared to when I first got them. A lot of people say it was after a firmware update. Apart from that, they are decent and no reason that they can't be used for gaming.

Have you updated the firmware? If not, don't!

I game with these over bluetooth, dont really have any issues. They also are my main headphones that I use for everything else. Super comfy.)

Those of you that use the Sony ones for gaming, is it easy to switch from your phone and back? I exclusively use the headphones with my phone. Never really considered using them with my pc too.
