New headset

So I'm looking at a new headset, kinda figured between then CM Storm Sirus or the Corsair vengeance. Which one would you go for and why?

Also, kinda wanting to avoid USB as I'm using linux, so considering the vengeance 1400 or the sirus s/c.

I have had a pair of Sennheiser's for nearly 10 years. The sets with a mic are slightly more expensive but definitely worth it. Sound is great and build quality is way better than most brands.

Get a Modmic or similar then.
I have Beyerdynamics DT990 with a modmic attached.

Or get a cheap R30 over ear headset and hack it apart so that you just have the mic attachment.
