Would I be able to format my HDD and boot the comp up with Ubuntu disc in it? Then Install from there? Thanks for all the help

Yes. You don't need to format beforehand, Ubuntu will do that for you.

When I select any of the option, it just Hangs and I cant do anything.

Go with option one first when you get to the live desktop run the install from there I had the same problem with my laptop could only install once in the Live Distro,
