So, 4.2 brought some interesting taming challenges for hunters. What is your experiences so far?
I got the spectral cat in the Hijal daily area spawn right ontop of me, and ofc it one shotted myself and quite a number of other ignorant hunters. When I finally figured out I need to take of my clothes to tame it, someone have killed it. This was day one of 4.2
I also went on a mission to tame the new cat called Skarr on the first oppertunity to open the firelands portal, ofc I had to wait in line for a Orc hunter called Rambozoo (Guess he never got it as well because I saw him two days later there as well). Reminded me of the epic waits for new pets such we had in Vanila.
Two days later I went back to tame skar, and ran into a nice green spider called Kirix. Being first on the scene I died a few times taming it till my respawn timer let me wait 2 mins to ress. A few other hunters including Rambozoo also soon started taming the spider, but all died. When my respawn timer ran out I tried once more to tame it, and when the taming bar nearly completed, I died again... Went back and the spider was gone. I first thought the spider have been tamed/ killed as well. But then I noticed I had the spider in my pet summon bar
I then moved further towards Skarr, and enjoyed watching a number of hunters killing themselves trying to tame the new Skorpid.
