Newer apps are starting to tax my iPad2, I'm hoping a fresh re-install will give it a bit more life otherwise I'll be looking forward to the release of new model.

I remember walking into an iStore to play with an iPad 1. I had already read all the reviews online and the various comments for and against it. So I was prepared for a low res sluggish piece of rushed out junk. I was stunned by it's build quality, speed, quality of display and responsiveness. It was just plain amazing. There was nothing else available at the time to compare it to which made it stand out even more. Needless to say, the competition took a while to catch up but they have now equalled the iPad and even surpasses it in certain ways. However, that iPad 1 release was indeed revolutionary and innovative.
