So i bought myself a Ipad eventually (i couldn't wait for the competition to end lol)

i bought my ipad on saturday.

Now what i want to know, is pages really worth it to get or not? since at the moment i'm using documents to go and it works well, except that i am struggling a bit with the bold etc since you have to actually go into a menu to find it.

Then another thing, what note taking app works well with what stylus? does the stylus actually work like real paper or am i better off typing my notes?

Regards
Peder

The best note-taking app with a stylus is Penultimate in my opinion. You need a capacitive stylus, or make your own.

Pages is a decent app. Garageband is also awesome.

Has anyone here made their own?

A very crude one (not really a pen) just to see what it wad like with Autodesk Sketcher Express. There are guides on the net. Of suggest buying one rather.

Notability and Penultimate are great
For Documents I have QuickOffice2 HD, very very cool, integrates with Dropbox and the price is cool as well.

Cool, i checked out penultimate and notability they look really cool. what kind of stylus do you use though?

Quickoffice2 HD i haven't tried yet but documents to go seems to work for now :)

Must agree - Penultimate is probably your best bet for notes taken with a stylus... For text notes I use Evernote (also on my iPhone, Mac at home, and PC at work).

Pages is pretty schweet!! I also use DropDav to integrate my Pages and Numbers apps with my Dropbox account :)
