New Line / DSL best option.

Whats my best option.
I am in a new place, doesn't have a line in the house at all.
So I need to order.
What should I do to get it done fast and cheap!

think the only choice you have is Telkom

The closer 2 package @R170 includes free installation.
Once its installed you call Telkom on 10219 and request an ASDL upgrade and be sure to say SELF-INSTALL, or they will bill you for sillyness.

please clarify something for me guys. there's no copper at all in your house, you order closer 2, the lines-man rocks up and runs wire from the pole to your lounge for free?

It wont make a difference.
At least that what they told me when i said that already had the line infrastructure.
A normal installation is R548 and sometimes they require a security deposit of R700 which i dodged like a bullet when i told them i have a excellent credit record.

Just a follow up -
Ordered my Closer 2 package.
16 days later Telkom man at my door.
Ran me a brand new line form the poll since the current one was old and might give me problems later.
Tested it out to the nearest box and trimmed the limbs on the tree that touched it.
100% happy with Telkom and all that was a FREE install.
So now I have ordered the 512 line (this morning) and they will text me as things progress.
Will update again soon.
