What's the verdict on these...

I've been using a new 15" MBP for the past few days... and I can't say I'm convinced... I find my finger sticks to the glass too much, almost like it has a rubbery feel to it?

My old 17" just feels easier to use?

and then the pad being the button?

any thoughts?

Not convinced either, but then again i hate all trackpads, mini mouse ftw

I saw an unusual trackpad on a different brand (HP?) It was completely flush with the rest of the body. I don't like the principle of them, much prefer a mouse.

the new mbp touch pad rocks... i packed my mouse away, only use my touch pad!!!

Don't get me started: the trackpoint (`n!pple on keyboard) on old thinkpads was a joy compared to any trackpad....

No i like trackpads in general... just not the glass ones... *that nipple thing was aweful, made me feel like a technoperve.

I suppose one has to get used to it, I've used it a couple of times with client's Mac's and it takes some getting used to.

Been loving my muli-touch track pad, not a big fan of the click buttons must be honest, the clicking action feels a bit to harsh for me but I'm trying to get in the habit off double touch to close/open. I have a new 15.4 Macbook PRO is there something like button break-in does the clicking action get better over time ?

Is anyone thinking of ordering the new MBP 17"?
Though about it but my older 17" still has way too much life left in it . . . unfortunately.

The only new mac I'd be tempted to get right now would be a netbook.

True, I'm just wondering how many people are thinking of getting one in this country

One of my family is getting on on the 10th of Feb.. and I would have got one but needed a machine urgently in oct last year... couldn't wait till feb.

Ha, okay then, if you say so. I was just wondering if they are all getting them in at the same time or if there is a waiting list for suppliers.

This one is coming from the US... one tries not support Core where possible.
