Ok, so all the MacBook pro's have has day speed bump update. And the 15" now has standard 16 gig ram all for the same price.... Let's hope they arrive here soon and on the Fnb list ..

As far as I understand, no price increase for the new specs. They are on apples website, when you go to the store.

But "core" will most prob have other ideas

Guys in states are lucky, there are always $100 off specials with $25 iTunes voucher deals etc.

Recently 9to5mac showed special where they knocked off $150 of latest MacBook Airs, not even education deal.

I can't wait for the rumoured 12 inch retina Macbook. I'll probably get myself one when it comes out.

Thinking that it's going to be used in the next generation MacBook Air? Because it's awfully close to the 13" Pro 'tina isn't it...

Yep... Supposed to be a 12" retina Air... Hmmmmm.

According to rumours:

Retina, new body design, and supposedly thinner/lighter than the air.

There are even rumours it will have no fan due to the new intel processors.

But only time will tell.

If you think about it, the 11 inch air has quite a thick bezel. The idea is they could fit a 12 inch retina screen in there if they reduce the bezel, giving the 13's screen real estate in the 11's body.

Yup they dropping variance with Air models (11 & 13) and consolidating to 12.

I suspect the refresh is purely due to the massive delays on broadwell by Intel. Looks like effective delay to end product will be 12months :erm:

Ps. Currently Mac buyers get a $100 voucher to the iStore in the states.. So sad..

Makes sense. My current air already is practically fan-less. It never spools up unless I fire up a proper game such as Dota 2 or World of Warcraft. When it's a workhorse it is dead quiet.

Yes, broadwell is a fanless CPU design to improve use in mobile applications of processor but I guess best to let them work out the kinks?

Btw the MacPros are due for a rehaul/redesign so it's kinda sad it didn't happen yet as it means next yrs one will definitely have it done.

Meh I can't 6-9 months for new pros

How long do the stores here normally take to bring these out? I see Digicape and iStore still advertising the "NEW Macbook Pro".
