One annoyance so far is that it seems like the top of the range astina is not available in auto.

Yeah yeah dumb move that; only on the high spec pricey model.

Even worse is the 1.6 models locally have the dated (read: crappy) 77kw motor & that forces you to spend more to get the much better 2L.

I'd probably look at getting something like this when I get rid of my i30.

Nice smooth NA motor and solid build quality from the few persons I have spoken to who own 3's

MPS version might be a nice upgrade on my Fiesta ST. The Astina might do though
