New Modem Questions Please Help

Hi everyone I have a vodacom modem that is 3.6 HSDPA speed. And today I bought the new K4505z but the thing is I still have 200mb od data on my old modem so if I take the sim-card out of that and put it in my new modem will it work? And what is the difference between Broadband Advanced and Broadband standard?
