New offer made to Telkom workers

New offer still makes no firm promises. I support the Telkom techies in this as they actually work. Fire the managers and Telkom might improve and will definitely be cheaper as well.

Telkom trying to avoid a strike, because their share prices are going to go down, down, down!!!!! :D

OK so they decided just when everyone was going home what their plan of action is.

Their offer is on condition that there is no strike.

The strike will probably go ahead if hardly anyone knows that Telkom has put an offer forward on condition of no strike.

Come Monday, Telkom will say the deal is off as people were on strike.

I watch this with interest. If Telkom doesn't meet the workers' offer then the workers should keep striking. Without them Telkom is useless and they know it.
 
*sigh* Me see's Telkom changing their mind about the proposed ADSL price decreases because they won't be able to turn a profit now that they've given all the money that was supposed to be used to pay off infrastrucutre to their staff so they wouldn't strike and ruin their ever loyal customers support. poor poor telkom :(
