I bought from him a few times for friends. But I don't see the need to pay for something she only needs for a few weeks.

I told her to ask her IT teacher. Still waiting.... But her school has the kids on Google accounts, just the IT class where they do programming, where they need it for a while for simple database.

When will these changes happen?
Changes will begin rolling out for Office.com in November 2022. And then changes will begin rolling out for the Office app on Windows and the Office mobile app in January 2023.

These changes will apply to everyone who uses the Office app for work, school, or personal use.

How will these changes impact on me? Do I need to do anything?
There will be no impact to your existing account, profile, subscription, or files. The app will update automatically with a new icon and name, so keep an eye out for those changes in November and beyond.

Alternatively,she could use the school/campus lans and save her work on a USB.

A learning tool to explain relational databases is probably one of the few remaining legitimate use cases for Access in this day and age.

I still think that the curriculum should be based on an open source option. It's bad enough that people who can afford it have to pay for an Office license (and it's not really like you can buy Access on its own) let alone for those many people in this country that would struggle to afford MS Office, even with a discount.

It'll work for up to 6 people and the 1 TB per person OneDrive alone makes it worthwhile in my opinion. All the Office apps are just nice extras.

Don't see it on my daughters laptop, she has the Office 365 she got from Mahala, local install. Maybe it's with Pro or something.
Mmmm, just checked my work laptop with O365 E3 installed, also no Access.

MS accounts work perfectly. Methods now use online KMS activations to third party license servers. From MS' perspective it's a completely legit Office.
There are no permanent files for AVs to flag. The caveat is that your PC has to connect to the internet at least once every 3 months to recheck the license.

Windows doesn't even need files anymore. You can activate that permanently and it officially appears on your MS account.

You're still thinking of the KMSpico days.
