New OpenAI tool helps detect AI-created text

OpenAI, which released the viral ChatGPT chatbot last year, unveiled a tool that’s intended to help show if text has been authored by an artificial intelligence program and passed off as human.

The tool will flag content written by OpenAI’s products as well as other AI authoring software.

Not very accurate at the moment.

I checked a few paragraphs and the result was "The classifier considers the text to be unlikely AI-generated"

I then changed about 10 words and the result was "The classifier considers the text to be unclear if it is AI-generated."

About 70% of the original text was AI-generated.
