Hey Friends,

We have launched our new Uncapped Packages.

Account Details:

1 concurrent connection
No P2P access
You can use your own router
NO Setup Fee
Works great for gaming
Quantity VERY limited

192k - R499 per month
384k - R975 per month
512k - R1299 per month
1024k - R2599 per month

All prices include VAT.

These packages use the SAT3 cable through SAIX for its international access. It can be used for international gaming, as it gets quite good pings. I do have a 1 hour test account available if you would like to try before you buy.

I have not yet launched them on our website, as I wanted to give loyal MyADSL users first preference.

If you have any questions, you can ask them on this thread, or email: [email protected]

Warm regards

Local and international.

The bandwidth is shaped, with the gamer in mind.

Too rich for my blood but will defiantly keep you in mind should I leave uunet.

I'm also glad to see you've got the cajones to post new offerings here. If you're willing to stand behind your product even if it means taking some flack then more kudos to you.

Are the prices based on the Telkom line speed I have installed, or the limit I wish to utilise?

I have a 384kb line, but would be more than happy to have you limit my access to 192kb on the product (R500 is OK for me to spend, but R1000 is a bit rich :( )

Thank you for your support brother!

Hey Moederloos,

This is a limit imposed on our side, so you can certainly use the 192k package on a 384k line.

Should you ever wish to use your maximum speed, we are going to be selling full line speed packages as well:

2GB - R149 p/m
3GB - R199 p/m

Of course these can be used in addition to your uncapped package :)

Warm regards

damn, this sucks

Jeez, this is a big turn down for me :( I thought the prices for 1024 would least be R800-R1000, i cant afford R2500 a month for uncapped 1024k  Lol  I will have to think of another way to bundle my own packages from different sites, to get it to my own liking, coz i will probaly only download about +- 40gb a month, so its abit pricey to buy uncapped and i dont use it to the full extent. :p

Custom

Mrbeep i have a brillent idea for openweb, why dont u have service where people can customize their own adsl budles, to their liking? And say there is an adsl service that costs R200 and one that costs R300, and some bundles those 2 packages together it works out cheaper, ex those 2 packages bundled = R 450
so they save like R50 or sumthing, just my idea! :D

Good luck Mr Beep, I just hope that SAOL dont get bogged down in the IPC cloud like IS did. And with Telkom taking years to upgrade circuts, looks like there is going to be a big move to the SNO when the local loop becomes avalible

There appears to be something wrong with this page - it displays as a dog's breakfast in Netscape, Firefox and IE.

Or am I missing something?

Hey MrBeep!
Very nice, will definitely consider moving my current 3gig openweb account over to this!
All I can say is, its the personal touch Keoma adds to this very affordable service which makes it that much more appealing. Keep up the good work man!

Why is all the content on the OpenWeb website graphical? Makes copying and pasting prices/content a pain.

That is a very good point .geek

We have identified that as a HUGE problem, thus we are currently busy designing our new interactive site that will allow FANTASTIC admin facilities for users. Most of our services will be controllable by the user, eliminating alot of waiting time.

Warm regards
