i jusy noticed while playing my ms was 450 which is very good for me with hdpsa,anybody els notice less ping?
 
Haha Wintergrasp still laggy on Dragonblight realm EU

But that off course is because Dragonblight is one of the oldest realms, still awaitn a upgrade
 
ya in wg there is loads of people,damn this is great i could of go in to dalaran without dc :)
 
I have to agree, at 07H00 PM my latency is usually around 800 - 1000ms last night it was around 500 - 700ms right trough till 10pm when i logged off. I even managed to do an instance at 600ms last night. Maybe things are looking up, maybe the server was just more vacant than other nights, We'll soon find out.
 
Last night was the 1st time that I didn't get disconnected during the Grobbulus fight.

noticed higher frames in populated areas. Lag was the same thou 260-300

Dude I hear you, mine is also still on order after telkom has already been at my house two weeks ago, They installed the line from the Telephone pole into my room. Thing is, the line isnt connected from the pole to the other poles which eventually connects to the exchange box. Now telkom has to come on a weekend so they can bother other people by going into their yard to work on the poles... I had to go beg my neighbors to let telkom into their yards some of them responds like this "I dont even have a F@#$ing telephone go away! :(
 
i got my adsl line in 4 weeks, needed a line installed also. Technician was awesome very helpful, and went through hell to get my line installed, stupid complex conduits where blocked.

This is really going to pee on your battery...

I ordered DSL online on Friday. I've just been phoned to say my DSL line's been activated at the exhange and Im good to go.
 
Lucky bugger, I had to put a new line in because my gay room mate has a prepaid line installed and not prepared to convert it to a normal line...

was the guy from telkom????? because telkom is never helpful so far as i know and very slow,think most people would agree there :)

I guess someone has to try and beat that. My ADSL was installed in 24hours from when I placed the order. All I can say is WbAfrica did miracles :)
 
I moved into a place without a line

Placed order for line -> it was in after 8days.

Placed ADSL conversion -> done after 5 days.

It truely is about how you talk to them, not about luck

Ye Matt, Ru and the lads from WA are really cool. They're awake. I dig the fact that they offer online assistance via msn etc. as well. Makes sending screenies / copy&pasting entries much easier than spelling it over a dodgy cell line.

The guy was from telkom, and if people take snotty attitudes with them they just make your life hell.
