New PC - BSOD. Help!

Well I used probably arund 10 PSU Calculators and none suggested a requirement of more than 400 Watt, plus I spoke t loads of people and the consensus was that it would be sufficient. If that turns out to not be the case, ultimately, I can probably put it on Gumtree and up it to the CX600. But hopefully that's not the case, so more input would be great :)

I just did a quick calc and got 520

I dont know what Keyboard and mouse you using also just guessed you have 2 fans only, remember those small things needs juice as well.

Could be the graphics card.

Download FurMark (google it) and run the stability test. What it does is put the graphics card on full load.

Your PSU is fine. Run driver cleaner to uninstall your current ATI drivers and download and install the latest 11.4 version.

11.4 did not work, but 11.3 did. PSU is fine, seems the drivers were the problem. It works now anyways. Thanks guys

I have no fans other than the PSU, CPU and GFX fan.
With it being winter now your PC might be fine. However with long periods of gaming & more likely in summer you would need at least 1 system fan, preferably 2. If only one, add it to the back drawing air out.

...... getting really tired of the amateur brigade that always scream too little power right off the bat. Someone in the know always comes along and suggests something else is the problem and they are mostly right.

Glad it was just a driver problem Staple :)

Well I am 1st to say sorry I was wrong, its just that problem described is exactly what I had where I had to get a bigger power supply.

Lol no problem guys. Just really happy it was something simple. I shat a few bricks though :P

Graphics card or drivers.
If the PSU was at fault you'd know it before playing a movie or launching Firefox. (64 bit version I hope).
