R5000 -> GTX 970, the card everyone wants, but not the one everyone can afford.

R3000 -> Galax or mini Gigabyte GTX 960 Just because it's cheaper than the R9 280x, runs like it and uses much less powers, so much so that it can be run by a 450w with your i5.

R2500 -> R2800 (R9 270, R9 270x)

Another question.....

How far can I overclock my processor till I need extra cooling? It comes at 3.5ghz

Not worth the effort for a 1-2fps increase.
Leave the overclocking to the peeps wanting two get real fps increase running sli GTX970

It's all about the graphics card at this point for performance, CPU does an adequate job at it's stock.

GTX 970 is 256bit, link posted is GTX 960 128bit.
Doesn't really matter though with how haswell works, it's still better than GTX760, slightly worse than R9 280x card that's a little bit cheaper and MUCH more power efficient so you can save on the PSU too.

Once again, at the end of the day it's the final performance that counts, not the size of the bus, amount of cores etc. Get over it.

I would not import incase warranty issues.

Galax = Galaxy (EU trademark dispute led to name change I think) + merger with KFA2. Register card online after purchase for additional years warranty from what I've read. I'm looking at their 960.
