New pc

Replaced the CPU with the AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition @ 3.80GHz. (is this better than the Q8400?)

Replaced the screen with the 2333SW (actually cheaper than the one I had).

Getting the Blu-ray drive as I want to connect the PC to my TV to watch Blu-rays and its way cheaper than getting a PS3. Also, the drive only works out to about R800.

Upgraded to the XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card.

Also PSU to Coolermaster Real Power 620w Modular Power Supply

Price difference from original build only about R1,000 so should be able to do it.

Haven't ordered it yet so if there is any further comments I would appreciate it.

Actually, taking the Asus ATI Radeon HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
as the core is 100Mhz higher.
 
Oh and this is the cooler that comes with the above mention CPU Titan : Fenrir CPU Cooler CPU Cooler
 
Well it comes standard overclocked to 3.8Ghz so I don't have much of a choice! Seems a bit overkill for Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 though.

The 955 is way better than the q8400.
 
Might struggle with Solitaire... ;)

Nice build. With the changes mentioned, system seems solid... Just install Windows 7 64bit ;)
 
The price of BluRay disks seem to have decreased quite a bit
